안티-오이디푸스는  다음 두 주제에서 출발해 전적으로 홀로 감행된 단절이다.
즉 무의식은 극장이 아닌 공장, 생산하는 기계이다.
그리고 무의식은 아빠-엄마에 대한 착란을 일으키는 것이 아니라,....항상 사회적 장애(대해서)착란을 일으킨것이다.

극장을 공장으로 대체한다는 것은 재현에서 생산으로의 전환을 함축한 다.
무의식은, 무대의 각광 불빛에 애워싸인 비현실적이고 제한된 허구의 양식을 통해
부르주아 극배우들이 수동적인 대중 앞에서 공연하는 환상적인 무대가 아니라, 형태가 없는
흐름을 소비대상으로 변화시키면서 욕망을 생산하고 편집하는 공장에서 형성된다.
상상적 재현을 실재적인 생산으로 대체함으로써, 무의식의 체계는 변모한다. 이제 무의식은 표현적적이거나 재현적인 아닌 생산적인 것이 되며, 가족 구성원이 아닌 사회적 장전체에 자신을 투여한다. 욕망은 가족극의 재현 형식들을 포기함으로써 사회적 자의  역사적 다양성 전체로 확장된다. 바로 이것이 '욕망하는 가계'라는 표현이 함축한 것이다.
주체의  개인적 역사와 그 변덕스러운 가족적 사고,오이디푸스의 극장에 기반한것이 아니라,
역사의 이름들에 기반한다.
만일 무의식이 사적 私的인 극장, 개인적 감정이기를 그치고 스스로 사회적 약호가 된다면,
정신착란은 개인적 근원을 파고들어 가는 대신, 반대로 액체가 방출되어 쏟아져 나와 스며들듯 모든 사회적 장으로 탈주하여 흐를 것이다.

Dawkins explains how the genes that are around today -- in us and every other living organism -- come from an unbroken line of successful ancestors. Describing the body as a "survival machine" for the self-replicating information it contains, he explains how the genes that are good at making these bodies can therefore persist through countless generations, meaning successful genes are potentially immortal. It was this inspiring vision, along with the work of W. D. Hamilton, which motivated his research in this field.
