여름을 맞는 음력 5월 5일 명절
다섯이란 초닷새를 의미하는 단오

옛 시절 여인들 단오빔 차려입고서
아름다움 뽐냈던 오래된 풍습이 있고

남성들은 씨름으로 힘겨루기 했던
풍년 기원하는 가장 양기 왕성한 날

창포물에 머리 감고 민속놀이도 하며
조상들의 지혜와 정신 기억하는 단오날
